Roy and Joan Hamer Anniversary
Joan R. DeDecker and Mr. Hamer, both of Atkinson, were married Oct. 27, 1949, at St. Anthony's Parsonage, Atkinson. Their children are Cindy and Jr. Brittenham, Yorkville, Ill.; Karen and Wayne Miles, Coal Valley; Kim and Bill Gordon, Coal Valley; and Steve and Tina Hamer, LeClaire. Her six grandchildren are Kelly, Mathew, Mikel, Ryan, Grayce and Megan. Mr. Hamer was employed as a foreman plumber at Newmann Plumbing and Heating Inc., Moline, retiring December 1990. Mrs. Hamer is a homemaker. They are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline.
