Armeta M. Young was born Nov. 5, 1934, in Moline. She is married to John W. "Jack" Jones. Her children are Debbie (Brad) Luxmore, Rock Island; Belinda Gonzalez, Milan; and Alan, Milan. Her grandchildren are Randi and Michael Luxmore, Tara Gonzalez and Jay and Erik Jones. Her great-grandchildren are Makenzie, Rylee and Regan. She is retired from Hy-Vee in Milan. She is a member of Eastern Star 326, Pythian Sisters 254 and the Rock Island Conservation Club.
