Dorothy Prahl Birthday
Relatives and friends are invited to join Dorothy and family for cake and coffee on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 18th Avenue and 24th Street, Rock Island. It is requested that gifts be omitted. The former Dorothy Jinks was born Nov. 7, 1914, in Viola. She was married to Herbert H. Wright. He is deceased. She later married Henry G. Prahl, who also is deceased. She is the mother of Barbara Walton, Rock Island; William Wright, Glenwood Springs, Colo.; Richard Wright, Harlingen, Texas; and Janice Baugh, Kennewick, Wash. She has two stepsons, Ronald and Michael Prahl. There are six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren. Mrs. Prahl was employed for 16 years at Royal Neighbors of America, Rock Island, retiring in 1975. She is a member of Beulah United Presbyterian Church, Orion.
