Relatives and friends are invited to attend from 1 to 4 p.m. at Sherrard Fire Station. No gifts, please. Lorraine Jinks was born Nov. 14, 1919, in Sherrard. She married Virgil Spengler, Sherrard, on Aug. 31, 1940, in Davenport. He is deceased. Her children are Larry (Cheryl) Spengler, Sherrard; Tom (Janet) Spengler, Sherrard; Jan (Gary) Dochterman, Sherrard; and Jack Spengler, Boynton Beach, Fla. She has eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is a homemaker. She is a member of Community Presbyterian, Sherrard.
