Jewel-Osco helps the hungry this holiday season

River Bend Foodbank will receive hot turkey dinners from Jewel Osco to offer to struggling local families this Thanksgiving. The Foodbank will set up a table at the Jewel-Osco store in Moline, East Moline and Silvis on Nov 19, 21 and 21 to help collect money from shoppers to put the holiday dinners on the tables of the needy. "Jewel Osco has long been a partner of the foodbank and we really appreciate their continued support," says Tom Laughlin, Executive Director of River Bend Foodbank "It's especially important this year when demand for our services is at an all time high." There will be a check presentation from Jewel Osco to River Bend Foodbank at 3pm on Saturday November 21st at the Moline store, 2020 1rst Street
