The new Dunkin' Donuts at 3501 Avenue of the Cities, Moline, will open at 5 a.m. Dec. 10, with a ribbon-cutting at 9 a.m., according to a company news release. Moline-based OHM Food LLC, owned by Sam Patel of Moline, is the franchisee. The Salvation Army band will perform. Anyone who brings a new, unwrapped toy for a Salvation Army toy drive will be given a coupon for a free medium coffee. Dunkin' Donuts is well-known on the East Coast, and the Quad-Cities opening is part of a major move westward.
