Bea and Don Almquist of Moline celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 10, joined by family members and friends.

They are lifelong residents of Moline and were married at the Evangelical Free Church, then located at 19th Avenue and 12th Street, Moline.

They are parents of four children, Curtis Almquist of Cambridge, Mass.; Cynthia Kennedy of Davenport, and Kevan and Kyle Almquist, both deceased.

"They are still very much in love," say their children and grandchildren, "and it's a real inspiration."
