The Quad City International Airport and Allegiant are hosting a Vote for Vacation event from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the Allegiant Campaign Tour Bus in the west parking lot next to the Isle Casino/Hotel in Bettendorf.

People can vote for their favorite Allegiant vacation destination from the Quad Cities -- Las Vegas, Orlando-Sanford, Phoenix-Mesa or St. Petersburg/Clearwater.

A valid email address is needed to vote. Qualified entries will receive an instant "tax rebate" of $21.60 in their email. Anyone who votes on-site (must be 21 or older) is entered to win round-trip tickets for two to the destination they voted for.

One nationwide voter will win vacations for four years on Allegiant. People also can do "absentee" voting on Allegiant's facebook page. They won't qualify for the local prize but will qualify for the national prize.

WLLR will do a live remote at the bus site, and Allegiant and airport representatives will be on-site to discuss Allegiant' schedule from the Quad-Cities, which is now posted through April 16.

There also will be various games and prize giveaways at the bus site.
