Retired Lt. Col. Robert Harold Handley, 86, of Bettendorf, died Nov. 11, 2012, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Meet at Runge, Davenport, by 1:30 p.m. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday and 12:30-1:30 p.m. Friday at Runge.
He was born Dec. 18, 1925.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria M. Martin Handley; children, Robert P., Lubbock, Texas, Linda J., Bettendorf, Lori A. Gunn, Tyler, Texas; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret.
