BURLINGTON, Wis. (AP) Sheriff's authorities say two people killed in the crash of a small plane in southeastern Wisconsin are a father and daughter from Illinois.

The Walworth County Sheriff's Department identified the victims Monday as 50-year-old Todd Parfitt and 14-year-old Nicole Parfitt, from Antioch, Ill.

The plane crash occurred west of Burlington Municipal airport Sunday afternoon. Authorities say both victims were thrown from the plane.

Officials say it appears the pilot was attempting to land when the plane went down in a cornfield.
