Free Q-C Wind Ensemble Holiday Concert Dec. 9

Press release submitted by Tyné Rieck A free Holiday Concert will be performed by the Quad City Wind Ensemble and the Big River Brass Band on Sunday, December 9 at 3 p.m. The concert will take place in the Allaert Auditorium at the Galvin Fine Arts Center on the St. Ambrose campus. There is no admission required however the groups will be collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys for the local Salvation Army Angel Tree. 1988 -- 25 years ago: William G. Lawrence, first administrative director, has retired fromPECO Enterprises, Inc. Prior to his service at PECO, Mr. Lawrence was the civilianpersonnel officer at the Rock Island Arsenal.
