Robert L. Luckey, 55, of Calvin, Okla., lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2012, in Oklahoma.
The family will hold a memorial at a later date.
He was born June 17, 1957, in Chicago. He grew up in the Rock Island, Milan area, before moving to Calvin. He was a truck driver.
Survivors include his mother, Carlyn Fischer, Maryland; son, Bruce Luckey, Quad-Cities area; brother, Carl G. Luckey, LeClaire; sisters, Debbie Luckey, East Moline, Sandy and James Downey, LeClaire, Jeanette and Tim Ward, Moline, and Carolyn Luckey, Silvis; a granddaughter, Tatiana Luckey, Rock Island. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Luckey; and a brother, Bruce.
