Jeff Bernhardt was named the Alleman boys' soccer coach on Thursday. Bernardt replaces James Johannes, who resigned in October after a four-year tenure.

Bernhardt's previous experience includes being the Pleasant Valley High School boys' coach and former head coach of the Knox College men's program. He is the seventh head coach in Alleman history.

"Coach Bernhardt brings a great deal of success and experience to this position," Alleman athletic director Steve Smithers said in a released statement. "Alleman is fortunate to have secured a great coach with his credentials."
