Willie Swain Birthday
She was born Dec. 17, 1932, in Rock Island, to Julius and Martha Schenk Teuscher. She married Jerome Hoefferle and Arby Swain; both are deceased. She graduated from Rock Island High School and has been teaching oil painting for the Moline Park Board and Moline Activity Center since the mid 1970s. Willie also is active in "50 Club RIHS," Rock Island Arsenal Historical Society and her church, Holy Cross Lutheran, Moline. Her brothers and sisters are the Rev. Harold (Julie) Teuscher; the Rev. Dan (Judy) Teuscher; David (Connie) Teuscher; Marian (Tom) Hoffman; and Carol (Keith) Parchert. Walter Teuscher is deceased.
