Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chambers, Eldridge. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. He was born Oct. 12, 1947, in Rock Island, to Donald and Alberta Nusbaum. He married Valene Stilwell Oct. 7, 1970. Surviving are his wife; children, Jessica Kriner, Pingree Grove, Ill., Noah, Maquoketa, Iowa and Derek (Mary), Burlington, Iowa; six grandchildren; brothers, Tom, Phoenix, Ariz., and Jeff, Moline; his aunt, Mary Hancks, Moline; a cousin.

1988 -- 25 years ago: Hampton's sesquicentennial committee and the Hampton HistoricalSociety have scheduled a full slate of activities, which will be held throughout the year, to celebrate the village's 150th birthday. The first celebration will be the Memorial Dayprogram at 10 a.m. May 30, at the Brettun and Black Store Museum on River Road. Therewill be a sesquicentennial display.
