Cynthia "Cindy" Gosa, 50, Vernon, Ala., died Jan. 2, 2013, at the DCH Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Ala. Services are 8 p.m. Friday at Norwood Funeral Home, Sulligent, Ala., with visitation 4 to 7:45 p.m. She was born April 22, 1962, to Robert Sr. and Doris Teague Johnson. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Surviving are her husband, Tom Gosa Jr.; children, Tanya VanWinkle and Christopher VanWinkle, both of Moline; seven grandchildren; stepdaughters, Tara and Samantha Dixon, both of Davenport; sisters, Linda Evans and Dorothy Ross, both of Chesnee, S.C.; and a brother: Robert Johnson Jr., Spartanburg, S.C.
