Harold L. Stratton, 92, of Davenport, died Jan. 3, 2013.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Harold was born July 22, 1920, in Iowa, to Fred and Elizabeth Stratton. He married Dorothy Wigant June 14, 1946, in Davenport. She died in 1989.
He was a World War II Army veteran. Harold retired from French & Hecht after 30 years of service.
Surviving are his daughter, Candis Tompkins, Wagoner, Okla.; grandchildren, Dean Tompkins and Tina Roberson and their families, all of Oklahoma; sister, Betty Stinson, Muscatine.

Richard Evans, John Harris, George Crampton and William Getz, all of Moline, Charles Roberts, Rock Island, and Charles Johnson, of Hampton.
1989 -- 25 years ago: Indian summer is quickly disappearing as temperatures slide into the 40s and 50s this week. Last week, highs were in the 80s.
