George Bruce Dougan, 95, of Louisville, Colo., formerly of Bettendorf, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Juniper Village Assisted Living, Louisville.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Runge, Davenport. Burial is at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was born in 1917, in Traer, Iowa, to George and Ida Dougan. He was married to Betty Wick Dougan for 55 years, until her death in 1996.
Surviving are his sons, Philip and Paul, Colorado; daughter, Barbara, and grandson, Simon, Massachusetts; three nephews; and a niece.

1989 -- 25 years ago: The Immediate Care Center emergency medical office at South Park Mall is moving back to United Medical Center on Sept. 1. After nearly six years in operation at the mall, Care Center employees are upset by UMC's decision. The center is used by 700 to 800 people each month.
