Dwain Parish

Dwain P. Parish, 57 of Aledo, died Jan. 16, 2013, at his home. A time of remembering will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Speer, Aledo. Inurnment will be held in Texas at a later date. Dwain was born Oct. 26, 1955, in Greenville, Texas, to Stanley and Nellie Jacobs Parish. He had been in the Aledo area for over 20 years with his companion, Laurie Long. Dwain was a retired auto mechanic. He loved fishing and all kinds of music. Dwain is survived by his companion, Laurie Long; sister, Deborah Stringer, Quinlan, Texas; seven children, Chris, Rocky, Misti Dawn, Amanda, Deborah, Sarah and Kathy Jo. He was preceded in death by his parents and several sisters and brothers.

This year's festival has beenexpanded to five days, June 22-26, at the Northeast Park complex.
