DOERFER COMPANIES & KOMAX HOLDING AG EXECUTE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

Doerfer Companies announced that it has executed a Memorandum of Understanding with KOMAX Holding AG (Komax) regarding strategic cooperation with Komax's Medtech division based in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland.
Doerfer is an engineering driven designer, manufacturer, and integrator of automation systems and related equipment used to manufacture, handle, assemble, test, and package industrial and consumer products, with US manufacturing locations in Iowa (TDS Automation, Waverly), Illinois (Williams White & Company, Moline), South Carolina, (Advanced Automation, Greenville) and Tennessee (Wright Industries, Nashville) as well as an overseas location in Singapore (PSB Technologies Pte. Ltd.)
Komax Medtech is a leading provider of assembly automation solutions utilizing its highly sophisticated proprietary technologies, with a particular focus on the medical device industry in Europe, North America and Asia. Komax Medtech is headquartered in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland, with additional operations in Rockford, Illinois, U.S.A and Penang, Malaysia.
This strategic alliance between the companies provides Doerfer enhanced access to European markets, and gives Komax Medtech greater visibility to the North American and Asian markets. The agreement provides a framework to strengthen and build joint opportunities for the two companies through deployment of their combined global infrastructure and assets, and creates a significantly enhanced collective ability to carry out the increasingly complex, large scale, globally integrated automation programs and industrial projects required by Doerfer's and Komax's diverse customer base of multi-national companies.
