Louis and Georgia Slininger, Moline, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary in March at a family dinner.
Louis Slininger and Georgia Van Hecke were married Feb. 14, 1953, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline.
Their children are Ed (Pat) Slininger, MetamoraIll.; Dave (Holly) Slininger, Azle, Texas; Steve (Diana) Slininger, Silvis; and Tom (Katy) Slininger, Moline. They have seven grandchildren.
Mr. Slininger was employed for 32 years by the Moline School District, retiring in 1989.
Mrs. Slininger was employed for 21 years at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 1988.
They are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline.
