George Kincaid, East Moline, formerly of Geneseo, will celebrate his 80th birthday with a card shower. Cards may be sent to 618 32nd Ave., East Moline, IL 61244.
George was born Feb. 22, 1933, in Carbon Cliff. He married Betty Cobb, Geneseo, on Sept. 24, 1955, at Grace United Methodist Church, Geneseo.
His children are Kathryn Killion, East Moline; Keith (Linda) Kincaid, Moline; and Jayne (Stan) Cooper, Geneseo. George has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Kincaid served in the Navy from 1953 to 1955. He was employed by the East Moline School District, retiring in 1995 after 35 years.
He is a member of Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline.

The first celebration will be the Memorial Dayprogram at 10 a.m. May 30, at the Brettun and Black Store Museum on River Road. Therewill be a sesquicentennial display.
