Alberta "Berta" Simms, 89, of Davenport, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Runge, Davenport. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today. Cremation follows.
Berta was born Aug. 9, 1923, in Davenport. She married Edward Simms June 26, 1967. He died in 2007.
Surviving are daughters, Sandy Dalton, Linda Rowan, Trudy DeVine; stepsons, Edward Jr., Robert; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Janet Andrews, William Day.
