Neil Carr, 78, of Walnut, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at CGH Medical, Sterling. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Walnut First United. Burial is in Walnut Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. todayat Garland, Walnut, and 9:30 a.m. to services at the church. He was born in Mendota, Ill. He married Carol Zumdahl in 1958. She died in 1997. He married Mildred DeSplinter Powers in 2002. Survivors are wife; children, Roger, Russiaville, Ind., Dean, Bloomington, Ill., and Julie Jamison,Princeton, Ill.; five grandchildren; and two brothers.
