Albert E. DeBruycker, 87, of Milan, died on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Rock Island.
Private graveside services will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, with military honors. Wheelan-Pressly, Milan, is assisting the family.
He was born on Sept. 2, 1925, in Moline, to Leopold and Helmira DeBruycker. He married Julia Longwith in Moline. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Julia; and niece, Linda Longwith, Moline.

1989 -- 25 years ago: An avenue of lights, 13 Christmas trees strung with more than 44,000 sparkling lights, will expand the Festival of Trees beyond the walls of RiverCenter in downtown Davenport in mid-November.
