BETTENDORF: On Wednesday, May 8, at 10 a.m., area police agencies and Special Athletes will gather at Texas Roadhouse for the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. Participants will run a 13.1 mile route through the streets of both Bettendorf and Davenport. This extended distance (half marathon) is new to this years' race. All money raised for this event goes to benefit the Special Olympics of Iowa.
