Esther L. Garman Davis, 101, of Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan, Prophetstown, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at the center.
Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran, Prophetstown, with visitation at 12:30 p.m. Burial is at 4 p.m. at Fairmount Cemetery, Polo, Ill. Arrangements are by Bosma-Gibson, Prophetstown.
She was born Dec. 7, 1911. She married Joe M. Davis Dec. 23, 1943. He died May 27, 1985.
Surviving are daughter, Joetta Camp; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; stepson, Jeffrey; and one stepgrandson.

Richard Evans, John Harris, George Crampton and William Getz, all of Moline, Charles Roberts, Rock Island, and Charles Johnson, of Hampton.
1989 -- 25 years ago: Indian summer is quickly disappearing as temperatures slide into the 40s and 50s this week. Last week, highs were in the 80s.
