Raymond Carlson, 91, of Davenport, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Ridgecrest, Davenport. Cremation rites will be accorded. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Runge handled arrangements. He was born on Sept. 15, 1921, in Aurora, Neb., to Charles and Carrie Carlson. He married Inez Schneckloth in 1942. She died in 2010. Survivors are nephews, Jeff Schneckloth, Cedar Rapids, Jim Schneckloth, Bennett, Iowa, and Alan Anderson, Geneseo; two granddaughters; and nieces, Karen Kohn, Portland, Ore., Jill Burmeister, and New Liberty, Iowa.
