Ardean Duane "Dean" Evans, 78, of Davenport, died on April 30, 2013, at his home.
Services are at noon on Monday at McGinnis-Chambers, Bettendorf. He will be buried at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
He was born on May 20, 1934. He married Lois J. Carpenter on July 26, 1984, in Louisville, Ky.
Survivors include his wife; stepsons, Randy Geerts, Moline, and Brian (Karla) Geerts, Bettendorf; and stepgrandchildren, Josh, Joey, Annie, Adam, Shelby and Kyle Geerts.
