Cheryl Janet Ricketts, 85, Davenport and Bettendorf, died Friday, May 3, 2013, at Clarissa Cook Hospice, Bettendorf. Memorial services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Vianney Catholic, Bettendorf, with visitation at 9. Burial is at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Cremation was accorded. Arrangements are by Halligan-McCabe-DeVries, Davenport. Surviving are children, Karen Hileman, John, Laura Norton, Anne Blunk, Jeffrey, Mary Brent, Randy, Matthew; numerous grandchildren; one sister. Her husband, Ralph, preceded her in death.

She's been playing either piano or organ for the church for 61 years.
