The Rock Island County Democratic Black Caucus and Rock Island County Democratic Hispanic Caucus will host a reception honoring newly elected officials of color in Rock Island County from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the East Moline American Legion, 829 16th Ave.
The event is open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
Honorees at the reception include Gail McIntrye, Hampton Township Supervisor; Ald. Humberto Aguilar, 5th Ward, East Moline; and Ald. Ivory Clark, 1st Ward, Rock Island.
