Body found in Rock River between Erie and Hillsdale

The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office is working to identify a body found in the Rock River between Erie and Hillsdale Friday.

A resident reported the body. The sheriff's department and Prophetstown and Erie fire department recovered the body and turned it over to Whiteside County Coroner Joe McDonald.

No other information was available.
