Phyllis N. Mueller, 89, of St. Joseph, Mo., formerly of Davenport, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at her home.
She was born Aug. 3, 1924, in Easton, Mo., to F. Bradford and Mildred M. Schwalm Riche. She married Robert L. Mueller on June 29, 1946, in Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Bob, Davenport; daughter, Phyllis Saldivar; grandchildren, Ryan Saldivar and Trista Anderson; sister, Margie Rhue, Fort Worth, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. Her daughter, Nancy Anderson, joined her in heaven March 13, 2014.

1989 -- 25 years ago: The B-29 Super-Fortress bomber is impressive looking, and it did the job during World War II. Its claim to fame is dropping the atomic bombs in Japan to end the war. Only one B-29 is operational in the world today. It is on display at the Quad City Airport in Moline until Friday.
