Beverly J. "Bev" Calkins, 71, of Maple Grove, Minn., died March 14, 2014, at the home of her mother-in-law in Davenport.
Memorial services will be at a later date. Cremation was accorded. Arrangements are by Halligan-McCabe-DeVries, Davenport.
She was born Dec. 21, 1942. She married Dennis Calkins on Nov. 24, 1962.
Surviving are her husband; children, David, Maple Grove, Daniel Calkins, Brooklyn Park, Minn., and Dawn Petersen, Medicine Lake, Minn.; five grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Harriett Calkins, Davenport.

1989 — 25 years ago: Beginning this fall, Black Hawk College will offer a continuing education course in horseback riding at the Wright Way Equestrian Center, Moline, located just east of the Deere Administration Center.
