Letter: Pleased to have honest, plain-speaking Bustos in Congress

I'll make this short, but sweet.

I am so pleased to have Cheri Bustos representing me in our U.S. Congress.

I don't know her personally but she has become well-known in this area for many years. She has acquired a reputation for speaking plainly on important issues locally.

Plain speaking means clear and honest thinking to me.

Now, finally, I am a senior and grateful for Social Security, as I know millions of seniors have been for decades.

Her views on this last subject demonstrate the empathy and integrity with which she goes about each and every work day!
