As she wished, there will be no visitation. Cremation has been accorded. Private inurnment will be in Walcott Cemetery. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries is assisting the family.
She was born Feb. 26, 1925, in Des Moines, to Helmuth and Delphine Jebens. She married Wilbert Stoltenberg in 1946 in Davenport. He died in 2009.
Survivors are son, Steven, Davenport; daughter, Wendy, Iowa City; a grandson; and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.

She died Thursday, Sept. 11, at St. Mary's Health, Davenport.
She was born March 22, 1940, to Travis and Lucille Baker. She married Bobby Rice in 1956. He died in 1983.
Survivors are daughters, Susan Gerety, Sherrard, and Karen Reynolds, Davenport; and three granddaughters.

She died Friday, Sept. 12, at home. She was born June 9, 1946, to William and Juanita Faust.

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Legacy Baptist, Davenport. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Weerts, Davenport. Burial is at Davenport Memorial Park.
She was born in 1969 in Little Falls, Minn., to Gene and JoAnne Leppert. She married James DeWispelaere in 1989. They were divorced in 2012. She later met Will Forester.
Survivors are father, Bettendorf; daughter, Adrian DeWispelaere-Lemus, Long Grove; son, Michael DeWispelaere, Davenport; three grandchildren. She was preceded by her mother.

09/13/2014, 5:57 pm Donna Jean Downey, 87, of Dubuque, Iowa, died Friday, Sept. 12, at her home.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Dubuque.
Donna was born on Nov. 2, 1926, in East Moline, the daughter of Frank and Addie Loding Miller. She married Wayne A. Downey in 1945. He passed away in 1978.
She was a secretary in the 1940s for John Deere. In the '70s, she worked as a cook at Area Residential Care, and she later worked at Hartig's as a clerk, retiring in 1983.
Donna enjoyed square dancing with her husband until his death, trips with the 62 Plus Club and playing cards with her card club friends. When she lived in East Moline, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Rose Chapter 626 in Silvis. She traveled extensively throughout the U.S, and visited Hawaii twice. She also traveled to Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Australia and New Zealand.
Survivors include her children, Kathy (Tom) Barrington, Dubuque, Brian (Kathy) Downey, Davenport, and Michael Downey, Dubuque; grandchildren, Laura (Andy) Swinehart, Elkhart, Ind., Holly (Adam) Byers, Marion, Iowa, Tim Downey, Davenport, Tyler and Brooke Barrington, both of Dubuque; and six great-grandchildren. Donna was preceded by her husband and a granddaughter, Tiffany Barrington.

Visitation will be 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday at First Church of the Open Bible, Galesburg, where a memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. Pastor Tracy Cobbs will officiate. Teresa was born Nov. 21, 1985, at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, Mo., the daughter of Joseph B. Withers and Cynthia K. Finkle-Ramirez.
Teresa enjoyed making crafts and salsa. She loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Joe (Cheryl) Withers, East Moline; her mother and stepfather, Cynthia (Jose) Ramirez, Galesburg; paternal grandmother, Patricia E. Withers, New Windsor; maternal grandmother, Leah McCarty, Ottumwa, Iowa; two sisters, Alisha and Melissa Withers, both of East Moline; her boyfriend of more than 10 years, Trent Morrison, Henderson; and three nephews, Dustin, Emanuel and Javier.

09/13/2014, 5:57 pm Paul Sacco, 90, of East Moline, passed away Saturday, Sept. 13, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation. The family will hold a private Mass and a dinner to celebrate his life. Memorials may be made in Paul's name to St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, Beacon of Hope Hospice or Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
He was born in Clarkdale, Iowa, on Oct. 23, 1923, to Charley and Mary Valentine Sacco and was one of 10 children. Paul married Mary Roseman in East Moline on Aug. 28, 1948, and they recently celebrated their 66th anniversary.
Paul retired from American Air Filter after 38 years as a pattern maker. He was active in contract negotiations and helped establish its credit union, which later merged with fledgling IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union.
Paul enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, reading and following his grandchildren's school and sporting activities.
Mr. Sacco was a World War II Marine Corps veteran serving in the South Pacific, Okinawa, Guam, Guadalcanal and the occupation of Japan.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Nancy (Alan) Cook, Geneseo; son, Bruce (Holly) Sacco, East Moline; grandchildren, Kathryn (Edward) Plese, Matthew (Amber) Cook, Benjamin Sacco and Anthony Sacco; great-grandchildren, Andi Schmidgall, Lexi Schmidgall, Sophia Cook, Eddie Plese and Alex Plese; and siblings from Iowa, Mary Ann Wetmore, Clarkdale, Robert Sacco, Cincinnati, Gary (Donna) Sacco, Moravia, and Judy (Tony) Buban, Mystic, and Joann (John) Lasley, Moline. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jasper Sacco and Tom Sacco; and sisters, Frances Sacco Kauzlarich and Dorothy Sacco Martin.

09/13/2014, 5:57 pm Alfred Liddell, 61, of Rock Island, made his transition to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Manor Care Health Center, Davenport. Friends are welcome to greet the family at 10 a.m. Thursday until the services begin at 11 a.m. at Orr's Mortuary, Rock Island, which is handling arrangements.
Alfred was born Sept. 17, 1952, in Louisville, Miss., to H.D. and Hattie Murl Liddell. Alfred was a lifelong resident of Rock Island. He attended Rock Island High School, joined the United States Army in November 1970 and, after serving a year in Germany, received an honorable discharge in April 1972. Alfred also received the National Defense Service Medal in Sharpshooter Grenade.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Second Baptist Church Music Academy or Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund. A very special thank-you goes to Mark and Emily of Heartland Hospice.
Alfred loved listening to old school music, and, in his younger days, he was voted the best-dressed man in the Quad-Cities. Alfred loved his family and enjoyed being around his nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
