Starting this fall, English will be offered as a major at Western Illinois University's WIU-Quad Cities Campus at 3561 60th St., Moline.
The undergraduate English courses will include English 200: Introduction to Poetry; English 299: Critical Methods of Reading and Writing; English 380: Writing in the Humanities and Social Sciences; English 387: Writing Workshop: Non-Fiction; and English 480G: Computers and Writing, according to a WIU news release.
