1887 -- 125 years ago: The Hartz and Bahnsen company wholesale drug store is being remodeled.

1937 -- 75 years ago: Mrs. Wallis Simpson's divorce decree has been granted and the Duke of Windsor is speeding toward France to join her and make plans for a wedding late this month.
