Brig. Gen. Rebecca Halstead to speak at Palmer College

Leadership expert Brigadier General Rebecca Halstead (Ret.) to present at Palmer College Oct. 3.

Retired Brigadier General Rebecca Halstead was the Army's first female graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, to achieve the rank of General Officer. She was the senior Commanding General for logistics in Iraq, where she was responsible for more than 20,000 military personnel and 5,000 civilians.

Gen. Halstead will present "The First Person You Must Lead is YOU" to Palmer College of Chiropractic students, faculty, staff and the public on the Palmer campus this Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 4 p.m. in West Hall, Rm. 210, 817 Main St., Davenport.

Now retired from the military, she founded Steadfast Leadership (www.beckyhalstead.com) in 2010, and is a sought-after speaker on leadership across corporate and academic sectors worldwide. She is a spokesperson for the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress as well as an advocate of providing chiropractic care to military personnel.
