Teagan Marolf, 7, entertains himself with the fallen leaves as he plays in Moline on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Conditions for playing might not be as favorable on Wednesday as rains on Tuesday night and noticeably colder temperatures are expected to move into the Quad-City area.

The next few days' forecast for the Quad-Cities will offer something for everyone.

Following scattered rain Tuesday night, temperatures will struggle Wednesday to reach 52 degrees amid clear skies and west/northwest winds of 5 to 15 miles per hour. Wednesday night's low is expected to be around 39 degrees.

A partly cloudy Thursday should see temperatures move back into the mid-60s for a high before dropping to 30 degrees Thursday night. Friday's high is expected to reach 57 before thunderstorm chances arrive late Friday night with up to half an inch of rain possible in some locations.

Thunderstorm chances persist Saturday, with highs climbing into the mid-70s, followed by more rain possibilities Saturday night. Partly cloudy skies are then expected the next few days before rain chances return midweek.
