Moline, Rock Island and United Township will host its respective boys' basketball scrimmages later this week.

UT hosts its "Meet the Panthers" night on Thursday in the Panther Den. The freshman/sophomore scrimmage starts at 6 p.m. with the varsity to follow. Cost to attend the scrimmage is $1.

Moline will have its Maroon and White scrimmage on Friday night at Wharton Field House. The event starts at 6 p.m. with free admission.

Rocky's Red-Gold scrimmage is Saturday at the Rock Island Fieldhouse. Freshmen and sophomores will scrimmage at 6 and 6:30 p.m,, respectively. The varsity will start after their 7 p.m. introductions. Cost to attend is $2.

The Dispatch and The Rock Island Argus will start its boys' basketball previews in Sunday's paper.
