Games: The Quad City Mallards visit Wichita's Intrust Bank Arena (7:05 tonight) and Bloomington's U.S. Cellular Coliseum (4:05 p.m. Sunday) in between hosting Tulsa (7:05 p.m. Saturday) at Moline's i wireless Center.

Saturday special: Fans can purchase four lower-bowl seats for only $40 (a $30 savings). In addition, hot dogs will be available for just $1 at the concession stands.
Storyline: The Mallards (5-4-3, 13 points) cap a stretch of seven games in 10 nights with a second straight three-game weekend with travel. The visits to Wichita (8-5-2, 18 points) and Bloomington (8-4-1, 17 points) are repeats from last weekend. QC's won both meetings with Wichita this season, including last Friday's first-ever win in Kansas. The Flock is 1-2-1 against Bloomington, with last Saturday's setback QC's first road loss in regulation this season. The Mallards and Tulsa (6-8-1, 13 points) have split a pair of meetings so far, with the road team winning each time.
Did you know? The Mallards are 0-4-0 in Saturday games this season but have gone unbeaten in regulation (5-0-3) in games played on any other day of the week.
Notes: QC goalie John Murray ranks second in the Central Hockey League in save percentage (.927), yet has three shootout setbacks. ... Half of the Mallards' 12 games have been decided after regulation, including five in the shootout. ... QC's Mickey Lang and Obi Aduba are among the Top 8 scorers in the Central Hockey League, each with 7 goals. ... The Mallards rank last on the power play, with a paltry 8.89 success rate (4-for-45).
Around the league: Former QC goalie David Brown leads the CHL in goals-against average (1.96) and save-percentage (.934) for Arizona. ... Bloomington's Jon Booras leads the league in scoring with 21 points, and teammate Nicklas Lindberg is third (19 points). ... Wichita's Gregor Hanson is the league's rookie scoring leader with 18 points and 7 goals. ... League-leading Allen got an unnecessary boost Wednesday with defenseman Mike Montgomery assigned by Triple-A Houston.
Next: The Mallards return to Fort Worth on Wednesday, a week after falling 2-1 in a shootout in that Texas town.
