Two people incurred apparently minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash shortly after 1 p.m. today on John Deere Road, near 16th Street. Moline Police officers at the scene attributed the accident to drivers who were not paying attention during holiday traffic and rear-ended vehicles in front of them. Two people were taken to nearby Trinity West Hospital for treatment for what appeared to be minor injuries, police said. Shortly after 1:20 p.m., a silver SUV was loaded onto a tow truck in the center of the median, and several feet away, a second black SUV sat with its front bumper crumpled in.Nearby officers directed traffic, which crawled along after the three-lane road where the accident occurred was temporarily reduced to one lane.
