Andover's 23rd annual Christmas Walk will begin at 4:30 p.m. Saturday with a tree lighting ceremony and sing-along at the Andover Lake Park bandstand. Vegetable beef and chili supper will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. at the American Legion Building. Other activities at the Legion will include Santa visit, craft-making, music, refreshments, miniature tree decorating contest and silent auction of the trees and other Christmas decorations. Other activities include free wagon rides around the park, 5:30 to 7 p.m.; refreshments at Casey's General Store, 5 to 8 p.m.; and Party of Four saxophone and clarinet quartet playing Christmas music in the candle-lit Jenny Lind Chapel, 6 to 8 p.m Members of the quartet are from left Julie Craighead, from Rock Island, Jennifer Krogmeier, from Davenport, Danelle Kvapil, from Davenport, and Scott Angelici, from Port Byron.
