Services for Rene R. DeKwae, 90, a resident at Kahl Home, Davenport, formerly of Durant, are 11:15 a.m. Thursday at Kahl Home Chapel, Davenport, with visitation from 10:15 a.m. to services. Burial is at Durant Cemetery. Arrangements are by Halligan-McCabe-DeVries, Davenport.
He died on Nov. 29, 2012, at Kahl Home.
He was born May 2, 1922, in Tielt, Belgium, to Constant and Maria Lambert DeKwae. He married Dorothy Lamp on April 15, 1961. She died on Aug. 21, 2011.
Rene is survived by many family members in Belgium and the U.S.
