COAL VALLEY — Installation of new water meters is moving forward, with fewer than 100 homes left to complete in Phase 1 of the three-phase operation.

Ferguson Waterworks is sending letters to all residents, instructing them to call the number on the notice to set up an appointment to have a new water meter installed.

Residents in Phase 1 will receive notices that their water service will be terminated if they do not make an appointment with Ferguson Waterworks. Addresses of people affected by the Phase 1 of installation are online at coalvalleyillinois.org.
