WHEATON, Ill. (AP) — The trial has been delayed for a Naperville man accused of stabbing a second-grade teacher to death and attempting to kill two others.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports Monday that paperwork issues delayed the trial for 28-year-old Daniel Olaska of Naperville. Olaska is charged in the Feb. 4 death of 24-year-old Shaun Wild. Olaska has pleaded not guilty. Members of both Olaska and Wild's families were in court on Monday morning.

The judge agreed to a defense request to postpone the trial until Feb. 5.

Wild graduated from North Central College and was in his first year as a second-grade teacher at Spring Brook Elementary School in Naperville.
