URBANA, Ill. (AP) — A judge has sentenced a Champaign 18-year-old to 20 years in prison for robbing and attacking an Australian researcher who was visiting the University of Illinois. The News-Gazette reports Dorian Willis was sentenced Monday for aggravated kidnapping. Clinton Fookes was visiting the university in October 2011 as part of a two-week visit to the United States. Fookes was attacked while leaving a restaurant, driven to a secluded location and beaten. He was robbed of a small amount of money, his wallet, watch and cell phone before he was dumped on the roadside. Fookes had brain damage, a broken nose, broken eye socket, broken vertebrae, frost-bitten toes and nine broken teeth. Two other 18-year-olds have pleaded guilty in the case and are scheduled for sentencing on Wednesday.
