Congresswoman-elect Cheri Bustos will distribute tickets for President Obama's inauguration via a lottery system.

President Obama will be inaugurated for his second term on Jan. 21 in Washington, D.C. Tickets are limited, so there is no guarantee that everyone who applies will receive one, a statement from Ms. Bustos's office said.

The tickets can be requested at cheribustos.com/inauguration. There's a limit of four tickets per request, and the deadline for requests is Dec. 21.

Anyone can enter the lottery, but preference will be given to those from within the Illinois' 17th Congressional District.

Those chosen in the lottery will be notified toward the end of December. Those not receiving tickets also will receive notification. Anyone receiving tickets for the inauguration will be responsible for their own travel and expenses.
