Children receive book on first night. Sponsored by Friends of the Moline Public Library. Registration is required. Reader's Theater Wednesday, January 9 7 pm Children's Program Room Moline Public Library Join us for folk tales, fairy tales and stories in script form read by young readers. Call the library to be a reader. No registration is required to be in the audience. Preschool Story Time Thursdays, January 10-31 10 am Children's Program Room Moline Public Library Stories, finger-plays and hands-on activities for children ages 3-5 not yet in kindergarten. Registration is required. Building With Books Lego Club Thursday, January 17 6:30 pm Children's Program Room Moline Public Library Build with Lego blocks and listen to stories. Blocks are supplied. For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Follow The Yellow Brick Road Saturday, January 19 12:30-4 pm Children's Department Moline Public Library Visit the Land of Oz in the Children's Department for games, crafts and other activities for all ages. Part of the "Be a Tourist in Your Own Backyard" event. No registration required. Pajama Story Time Monday, January 28 7 pm Children's Program Room Moline Public Library Wear your p.j's and bring your favorite stuffed animal to hear new stories. Bring the family and enjoy the fun! Recommended for ages 4-8. Registration is not required. Puzzle Day Fun Tuesday, January 29 All Day Children's Department Moline Public Library Drop in at the Children's Department and celebrate National Puzzle Day. Puzzles of all types will be available for all ages. Complete puzzles, solve puzzles, make a puzzle, and even swap puzzles! Swapping Puzzles Starts January 29 All Day Children's Department Moline Public Library Tired of your jigsaw puzzles? Bring a puzzle in good condition, that has all its pieces, to the Children's Desk to exchange it for a Swapping Puzzle. The Swapping Puzzle program begins January 29th and will continue through the year! Book on the Move Wednesday, January 30 6:30 pm Children's Program Room Moline Public Library An active story time program based on music, movement, and early literacy. It is geared for the "young and restless" (ages 4 and under). Registration is required. Wee Wiggler Toddler Time Mondays, February 4-March 4 9:30 or 10:45 am Children's Program Room Moline Public Library Especially for children 18-36 months with an adult. Stories and hand-on activities. No program on February 18. Registration is required.
